50 Years Moonlanding – 40 Years Interim Management – 40 Years Brainforce

An evening of pioneering spirit and courage

Zurich, June 5, 2019. On June 4, 2019, the Interim Management industry celebrated its 40th anniversary with top-class guests on a journey to the moon on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing. Special guests of this anniversary celebration at the Swiss Transport Museum in Lucerne were US astronaut and Moonwalker Charlie Duke, his wife Dotty and US Ambassador Ed McMullen. With a total of around 150 executives, mainly decision-makers from the Swiss economy, the evening was all about pioneering spirit, courage, leadership and innovation.

The Journey to the Moon began with US Ambassador to Switzerland, Mr. Edward McMullen and his introductory words. It was the countdown to Charlie Duke’s “Moon Presentation”. Charlie was Apollo 11’s CapCom and Moonwalker at Apollo 16. He delivered an impressive, entertaining 45-minute “Moon Show” and had the audience participate at the highlights of his journey to the moon. Charlie Duke was the tenth and up to now the youngest human, who was on the moon.

In 1979, Brainforce founded the interim management industry in German-speaking Europe as its pioneer. The founding of the company was visionary, because today this industry is a worldwide known with its very successful business model. The industry generates a market volume of more than two billion euros alone in Germany and Switzerland.

The evening event was moderated by Ms. Karin Frei from Swiss television.
