New Year’s message 2026 from Martin Schneider

Martin Schneider, CEO of the BRAINFORCE Group

Resilience Through Artificial Intelligence – or Through Leadership?

Dear Business Partners,

The year 2026 will once again challenge us with geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty. All the more reason to approach it with clarity, decisive leadership, and a commitment to actively building resilience. Leadership is becoming more demanding as conditions shift faster than ever, and de‑globalization is pushing companies to design their supply chains with greater creativity and robustness.

The debate around AI is also accelerating. Artificial intelligence can detect patterns, simulate scenarios, and support decision‑making. But resilience does not emerge from algorithms. It is created by people who use technology responsibly. AI provides data – leaders provide direction, priorities, and the courage to act.

Two sharp observations:

  1. AI amplifies the patterns embedded in its training data – patterns rooted in the past. In talent acquisition, this often means standard profiles are favored while unconventional candidates are overlooked. Do we really want less diversity when fresh thinking is exactly what drives innovation?
  2. In supply chains, AI optimizes for historical stability. It tends to reinforce familiar suppliers, established routes, and predictable demand. Yet in a world shaped by geopolitical risks, volatile prices, and climate impacts, this is dangerous. Short‑term errors may decrease – but long‑term vulnerability increases.

Let me conclude:

For 47 years, BRAINFORCE has stood for innovation, optimism, and operational leadership. For nearly five decades, we have helped companies not only navigate change but actively shape it. Our strength lies in supporting you through transformation and in executing critical initiatives quickly, precisely, and effectively – worldwide.

Thank you sincerely for your trust and the excellent collaboration over the past year. My global BRAINFORCE team and I look forward to supporting you again in 2026 – in unexpected situations as well as in the rapid implementation of bold, innovative approaches. Within days, we provide the best‑fitting operational management solutions to help you seize opportunities faster and meet challenges with confidence.

Yours sincerely,

Martin Schneider
