The rapid technical development paired with high pressure to produce quickly caused growth pain. In order to prioritize a structured engineering approach, the management decided to strengthen the site management by adding an interim technical director alongside the existing commercial director.
The operational tasks of this newly created position comprised of the managing the engineering team, optimizing processes and guaranteeing quality assurance measures.

Right after the Interim Manager’s launch he quickly presented a brief analysis of the current situation as is extensive previous work experience in specialty machinery assembly operations.
With that knowledge, he could power ahead in a focused way on the pending development work, in close co-operation with our customer and our ambitious engineering team. Thanks to the combination of his external view and his operational commitment and capacity, he could quickly uncover organizational weaknesses and eliminate bottlenecks.
He set-up a quality team consisting of engineering, production and technical services. The aim was to both better support the international service staff at the customer sites, and to gain further insight from the field experience.
